Beauty of Wetlands | Qinghai Lake Wetland

Qinghai Lake is a typical representative of the inland lake wetland types on the world's plateau, an important water conservation area in western China, an important node for the international migration of waterfowl from Central Asia to India and East Asia to Australia, and an important wintering place for waterfowl on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

In recent years, the water storage capacity of Qinghai Lake has increased continuously, the water quality of the basin has remained stable, the comprehensive vegetation coverage of the grassland has gradually increased, the quality of the ecological environment has improved significantly, and more than 80% of the area of the basin has maintained the authenticity of the ecosystem.
