As a Jiangsu native who was born by the sea, it has always been a pity that the sea in his hometown is yellow. After all, it is a beach.

How to get to Flower and Bird Island
You can go this way from Shanghai
Since July 26 this year, Shenjiawan Wharf has been reopened, which is more convenient than when it was not opened before.
So the route from Shanghai to Huaniao Island (Jiangsu can also refer to it) is: Shenjiawan Wharf → Sijiao (Lijushan Wharf) → Sijiao (Xiaocaiyuan Wharf) → Huaniao Island. Among them, Lijushan Wharf and Xiaocaiyuan Wharf are within the scope of Shengsi County.
First, how to get to Shenjiawan Wharf:
Self-driving
It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to drive from Pudong Airport, and 20 minutes more to drive from Hongqiao Airport. You can take the time of this journey as a reference.
There is a parking lot at Shenjiawan Wharf. It is 6 yuan/hour in the off-season and 7 yuan/hour in the peak season. Parking for 8 hours a day reaches the top of the charge (from May to October is the peak season).
In addition, cars can't go to Huaniao Island, and there is no place to stay in the parking lot of Shenjiawan Wharf. Please prepare in advance~

Buy a bus ticket
There are two lines.
First, you can buy tickets directly on Ctrip by bus. The departure station is Shanghai People's Square. There are two buses. I looked at the ticket information. At present, tickets are only released on holidays. Now, you can still buy tickets for the National Day flight. You can pay attention to one wave. Prepare nucleic acid for 48 hours.
Then there is the bus line. From Shanghai Hongqiao Long-distance West Station, take the Shengsi Waterway intermodal line to Shenjiawan Dock. There is only one bus every day, leaving at 13:10 on time. The fare is 39 yuan, and the distance is 124.3 kilometers.
After arriving at Shenjiawan, buy tickets according to the route of Shenjiawan → Sijiao (Lijushan Wharf) → Sijiao (Xiaocaiyuan Wharf) → Huaniao Island.
You can take a taxi from Lijushan Wharf to Xiaocaiyuan Wharf, and the local master's price is about 25 yuan.
The ticket is bought on the official account of "Shengsi Passenger Transport", and there are different classes. The lowest fare is 100 yuan, and the lowest fare from Xiaocaiyuan Pier to Huaniao Island is 40 yuan.
The time of ticket purchase is seven o'clock in the morning four days before the departure. The alarm clock must be set. The departure time is as follows:
Buy tickets
The way to take a boat is to buy tickets directly from Nanpu Passenger Station to Shenjiawan, at least one week in advance. The boat will sail every day, but it is difficult to buy.
If you can't buy it online, take your ID card and try to buy it offline. Remember to bring cash with you.
You can go this way from Hangzhou
Self-driving
It takes about 3 hours to get on and off from Hangzhou Passenger Station or Xiaoshan Airport to Shenjiawan Wharf. After that, follow the above route.
Another route is to drive from Hangzhou to the Sanjiang Pier in Zhoushan. The same route is from Hangzhou Passenger Station or Xiaoshan Airport, which takes about 3 hours.
Then follow the route of Zhoushan Sanjiang Wharf → Sijiao (Lijushan Wharf) → Sijiao (Xiaocaiyuan Wharf) → Huaniao Island.
The ticket of Sanjiang Pier → Sijiao (Lizhushan Pier) needs to be purchased from the official account of "Tongda Passenger Transport". The lowest ticket price is 100, of which the passenger number is much faster than that of Tongda. The ticket release time is 9:00 p.m. three days before the departure. You can stay at Sijiao for one night and then go to Huaniao Island.
After that, the journey from Xiaocaiyuan Wharf to Huaniao Island is the same as that of Shanghai.

Buy a bus ticket
With bus tickets, Hangzhou Passenger Transport Center can drive to Shenjiawan Wharf, and Hangzhou East Railway Station can drive directly to Lijushan Passenger Station.
I prefer to take the bus directly to Lijushan Passenger Station and stay overnight.
Finally, Shenjiawan now has a direct ship to Huaniao Island, which has to be booked by your boss of the home stay. So you should book the home stay in advance anyway, and then ask the boss of the home stay to help you book the tickets.
How to live in Huaniao Island
When it comes to accommodation, we have to mention the name of "Little Santorini" of Huaniao Island. The scattered houses on the island are blue and white. I really feel it.
Generally, people go to Huaniao Island to live in homestays, but as you know, most of the "online popular homestays" in tourist attractions are just good-looking, and it is likely that they are not good at homestays.
So when you book a home stay in Huaniao Island, you must ask more about it. You can post a question on Xiaohongshu or Weibo Douban.
The price of homestay on Huaniao Island is generally around 400 yuan. In the peak season (from May to October), it is better to set it two weeks in advance.
How to play on Flower and Bird Island
Huaniao Island is a very small island, and basically it won't take long to circle the island for a week.
But when you go to the island to play, you must walk slowly and leisurely on the island. After all, the life of Huaniao Island is stronger than that of Dongji Island and Lycium barbarum Island. There is a feeling that the island building game is reflected in reality.
By the way, you need to charge 85 yuan for boarding the island and 45 yuan for children. My personal attitude towards ticket collection is that sometimes charging is better than free.
Although Huaniao Island is small, because the round-trip trip is a little cumbersome, you can take a three-day and two-night route to feel it in detail if conditions permit. The itinerary is roughly as follows:

As we all know, it is serious to be in a daze on the beach, but it is also childlike to go to the sea with the heart of exploration, tease the hermit crab and pick up the conch. However, when traveling to the sea, you must be accompanied by the host of the homestay, and then the rising tide is 5 o'clock, pay attention to safety.
Luminous sea
In addition, you can also see the legendary "blue tears" on the beach of Nanwan. However, the trigger time of blue tears is usually in the summer of July and September. If you are lucky, you will encounter the whole sea area turning blue, which is in harmony with the stars in the night sky.

Mata Line is a coastal highway on the island, which looks like the feeling in Xinhaicheng Animation.

For tourists, this coastal highway is the most important thing. It can be used as a background for taking pictures. In sunny weather, the sea and the sky are the same color, and it is easy to take pictures.

The bergamot stone is the best place to watch the sunrise on the island. This huge stone on the north side of the island is like a palm with five fingers apart. Because there is a temple near the stone, it is called "Buddha Stone".
One night before the sunrise, you can check the sunrise time of the next day and set an alarm clock half an hour in advance. At the beginning of the sun's rise, the light diffused in the clouds changed from tender to dazzling, and the morning light sprinkled on the sea was moving.

Flower and bird lighthouse
Watching the sunset at the Flower and Bird Lighthouse is a must punch item to go to the Flower and Bird Island. Unexpectedly, the lighthouse on this small island is "the first tower in the Far East".
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Shanghai and Ningbo opened ports one after another, and the routes between Shanghai and Japan were very busy, and Huaniao Island was the only place on the route. There were many islands and reefs on Huaniao Island, which were prone to accidents. The British colonists built a tower here.
So this lighthouse looks very western and has a sense of historical vicissitudes. It has four floors in total. The upper wall is made of glass and the dome is made of copper.
I don't know why, when the two images of lighthouse and sunset are put together, prose poems will always appear in my mind. Maybe after sunset, the lighthouse will start to illuminate the sea in the dark night, which is poetic in itself.

Flower and Bird Island can go fishing by boat, which is very wild. Don't worry about being a novice, because they are accompanied by professionals. For fishing at sea, the cost is 160 yuan per person, and children 1.2 meters and below can fish for about 2 hours at half price.
